Corless Connection - Sterling Heights, Michigan - 11 April 2010

Dear Family,
Mobility - As of Monday, a Lincoln MKS has been added to our fleet of vehicles.  It is the perfect Relief Society vehicle - Mom can sit in the comfort of leather heated or cooled seats, talk on the phone hands free while the navigation system directs her to the next mercy mission with the cargo space of the Explorer.  Life is Good!   Now if she just would drive it!!!
Improvement - Tuesday morning Mom & Dad went to the RS scripture study group to discuss a few sections of the Doctrine & Covenants. After the class the two of them plus Sis. Starr, enjoyed a 2+ mile walk around Lakeside Mall. The journey home was specially challenging due to a severe lightning storm complete with hail which was very loud and reduced visibility.
Service - Mom & Dad joined Sister Pix and Sister Starr for an opportunity to serve homeless people in downtown Detriot. The ladies helped serve the meal while Dad handed out clothes. One of the other volunteers was talking about doing her genelogy. Seizing the moment, Dad shared with her how to get started and where to get information from lds.org and the local Family History Center.
Entertainment - Mom & Dad went to “Date Night” on Friday, and took Grandbuddies to “How to Train your Dragon” in 3D on Wednesday afternoon.  It was fun!
We love y’all,
Mom & Dad
