Corless Connection - Sterling Heights, Michigan - 18 April 2010

Dear Family,
Returned with Honor - Michael, the straight A student, completed his journey home with stops at Jim & Vanessa’s to run the Mafia game and Ryan & Maureen’s to play King Are Wild on the way. It is great to have him home for the summer. He is all ready to start working for Clark’s (a local landscaping company where Ryan worked) and Hollister at Lakeside Mall this week.
Just for the Health of it - Mom is happy with her visit with a Podaitrist because she gets to rid herself of the painful $$$ orthodics, however, her visit to the dentist to recement a crown turned into a two hour visit with a complete redo of the crown. One might say, Mom is up on her feet, but a little down in her mouth. :-)   Dad’s breathing test result showed he has excellent lung capacity, but probably has a sinus infection problem which causes the coughing and wheezing. Therefore, he is on a 4 week regime of a 2 pills/day antibiotic and daily nasal washes. For anyone looking for some high brow entertainment call Dad - he will use a syringe to push a salt/baking soda solution through one nostril until it runs out the other one for you. It’s real classy!
Edification - Dad led the Tuesday morning Relief Society Scripture discussion of Doctrine & Covenants sections 77-84, which includes the oath & covenant of the Priesthood.
Creativity - Dad helped Holli with the chest of drawers project on Wednesday and helped for a few hours Ryan with the basement on Tuesday and Wednesday and Saturday.   Also, he built two sets of team skis out of 4 2X4’s and 50 ft. of rope for Jim & Vanessa’s cast party for Wyandot Jr. High. However, the sawdust is now off limits for Dad for the next 4 weeks.
Saturday Warrior - Rachel found 2 1/2 year old Mia standing on her little princess chair, next to her open bedroom window, arms extended, yelling “Repent! Repent!”  As Nona said, “that’s our girl!”  You tell ‘em. Mia!
Love y’all,
Mom and Dad, Papa and Nona
